Poisoned Dwarf to Perform on Chincoteague
The Chincoteague Cultural Alliance presents the exciting Celtic band Poisoned Dwarf in concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday March 27 in the Senior Center located on Church Street.
Poisoned Dwarf plays driving traditional Celtic music. Focusing primarily on Irish traditional music, and with acoustic instruments only, this band from Williamsburg, Virginia has entertained audiences in many different settings for years.
The Irish flute, whistle, guitar, Scottish Small-Pipes, banjo, a variety of percussion instruments (including bones and bodhran), accordion, and of course fiddle are all part of Poisoned Dwarf performances. Their love for the music and the playing of it is always obvious from the first note.
Tickets are $18 at the door, $15 for advance purchase. Student tickets are $5. Advance tickets are available online at www.ChincoteagueCulturalAlliance.org and at H&H Pharmacy and Sundial Books. Seating is limited. Advance Ticket purchase is recommended.
