Chris Holmes will be signing his two new releases at Island Butterfly 4107 Main Street Chincoteague Island, Pony penning week -July 28-31. Tuesday and Friday signing times are 11am-1pm & 5pm-7pm. Wednesday and Thursday will be 1pm-3pm & 5pm-7pm.

Chris Holmes is a watercolor artist and offers originals, watercolor prints, and now two posters at Island Butterfly. His new poster prints are high quality and real eye catchers.  They are affordable and make a great Chincoteague souvenior or memiore.

“Main Street” is a panoramic view of historic downtown with a view of the westside of Main Street. Featuring the shops, park, pony statue, library, and busy street activity. Chris decided to paint  “Main Street” because of the dramatic changes since he first painted it twenty years ago. His older version is sold out and currently only available as a collectors’ item.

“Reflections is a portrait of a Wild Chincoteague Pony who is elegantly reflected in the water as she crosses a creek.
