2008 Chincoteague Town Government Elections
On Tuesday, May 6, 2008 Chincoteague Island (election district #1) elections will be held for mayor and three council members.
Registered voters may cast votes at the Chincoteague Community Center on Community Drive. Polls open at 6 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. The last day to register to vote is April 7th. Voters may to apply for an absentee ballot by mail, with the deadline being April 29th. The last day to vote absentee in person at the Registrar’s Office (757-787-2935) in Accomac is Saturday, May 3rd.
