Chincoteague Cultural Alliance Seeks Artists, Craftspeople and Performers
If you are a painter, poet, singer, juggler, potter, drummer, actor, carver, jewelry maker, the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance (CCA) is looking for you. The non-profit arts organization sponsors a variety of events throughout the year to educate, enliven and entertain residents and visitors to Chincoteague Island.
Events include the popular Second Saturdays Art Stroll, which takes place on the second Saturday of each month from April to December. At participating galleries and shops, as well as at the town park and strolling the streets, artists and performers put their talents on display.
If you are interested in exhibiting and demonstrating your art or craft, or in performing, you are invited to join the organization?s roster. CCA will draw from the roster to book artists for Second Saturdays and will share information with registered artists about other opportunities, such as art and craft fairs held periodically on the Island. Musicians and street performers are especially welcome.
