November 17 - Chincoteague Cultural Alliance presents Diana Wagner in Concert

The Chincoteague Cultural Alliance presents Diana Wagner in Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, in the Chincoteague Senior Center located on Church Street behind the old elementary school.

Diana Wagner is an acoustic musician and folksinger with an interest in preserving and sharing historical and traditional folk music. As an historian, collector, and performer of folk music, Diana prides herself on giving voice to songs that were written long ago–some hundreds of years ago–and telling the stories behind the songs.

A much sought after performer and teacher, Diana’s recent touring schedule has included performances at the Emily Dickinson Museum in Amherst, MA, the Heart of the Alleghenies Folk Festival in Bradford, PA and Café Ole in Trenton, NJ.

Tickets are $18 at the door, $15 for advance purchase, $5 for students. Advance tickets are available online, through the mail and at Egret Moon, H&H Pharmacy, Island Cottage Collection and Sundial Books until 6 p.m. Friday, November 16.

To purchase concert tickets online go to www.ChincoteagueCulturalAlliance.org and click on “2007 Concert Series.”

Seating is limited at the Senior Center. Advance tickets are recommended. Seats reserved for season ticket holders will be released to general admission at 7:20 p.m.
