The Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce's Seafood Festival will feature The Marshall Tucker Band in concert to celebrate the event's 40th anniversary. American Littoral Society Fall Assateague Weekend


National Waterfowl Week at Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge

This event spans 9 days beginning the Saturday before Thanksgiving and going to the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

During the event, the Wildlife Loop will be open to vehicular traffic from 9 am to dusk. Private vehicles will also be permitted to drive the Service Road from noon to 3:30 pm from Thanksgiving to the Sunday after. A variety of guided walks and auditorium programs will also be offered during this time. For information, call (757) 336-6122.
