CHINCOTEAGUE ISLAND BLESSING OF THE FLEET
The Blessing of the Fleet is a revered Island tradition held at the Robert Reed Waterfront Park. Local ministers give blessings to protect the watermen from harm and ensure a good fishing season. NATIVE AMERICAN FESTIVAL
A celebration of a fascinating culture with native dancing, story-telling, and children’s activities. National Waterfowl Week at Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge
Celebrate the marvel of migration with driving tours on the Wildlife Loop, guided walks and an open house of special events and programs by the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge.
This event spans 9 days beginning the Saturday before Thanksgiving and going to the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
During the event, the Wildlife Loop will be open to vehicular traffic from 9 am to dusk. Private vehicles will also be permitted to drive the Service Road from noon to 3:30 pm from Thanksgiving to the Sunday after.

ANNUAL DEBORAH WATERFOWL SHOW & AUCTION
